First Prize in Instructables 'First Time Author' Contest.
My parents were looking for something to liven up the garden, so I jumped at the opportunity to design and build a piece of garden furniture.
It was a very valuable project, and greatly improved my skill at designing for manufacture, problem solving as well as my woodworking skills.
The project was posted on Instructables, a large DIY website, and received first prize in the 'first time author' contest. For which I won a Dremel kit! The article currently has close to 45,000 views.
