A fast paced 2 week, conceptual group project undertaken at Sheffield Hallam University. What would happen if Oakley and Garmin joined forces to create the ultimate adventure assistant?
In a group with two other coursemates, we dedicated two days to researching the Oakley and Garmin brand, identifying their design styles to inform our design. We designed the product to bring Oakley into the wearables market, sometime within the next 5 years.
I was primarily responsible for producing the CAD model of the concept in SOLIDWORKS. Once this was done, I produced a wide range of high resolution visualisations of the concept using Keyshot, using the opportunity to experiment with emissive materials and advanced material properties.
I was responsible for the layout of the A1 presentation board, which I put together using Adobe Photoshop. I was careful to ensure all images were at a resolution of at least 300dpi, for pristine print quality.
