Starpack Student Design Awards - Silver Award
Received Second Place for my design of an innovative yet discreet air freshener dispenser, in a National Design Contest.

Second Place in National Design Contest
The design contest was set by Logoplaste, a major producer of plastic packaging for big brands. The brief called for the creation of a dispenser / bottle that blends into its environment and dispenses a fragrance in a controlled way, also requiring particular thought to be given to the environmental impact.

Biomimicry.
The underlying focus throughout my process was 'nature'. The form of my concepts were primarily inspired by the forms of marine creatures, which are suffering as a result of ocean plastic pollution. I created the 'Naturfresh' branding and logo.

Air Freshener. Reimagined.
From my research I discovered that houseplants actually capture many of the toxins which are contained in existing air freshener compounds. This lead me to a concept in which the air freshener actually complements nature, by housing a plant as well.

Final Concept.
I targeted my design concept towards the modern home, mostly to be used in kitchens/bathrooms. It would appeal primarily to people in the 20 - 50 years old age range.

Quick Presentation Model.
After being selected to go through to the next stage of judging, I then had two days to complete a presentation model of my concept.
